Juniper Hill lies between Painswick and Stroud and lies within Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The views and openness of this valley are uplifting and I loved this view across the valley with the patterns of hedgerows and lined fields. The clouds seemed to mimic the shapes of the foliage which edged the farmland, and one particular field which had the the sun landing on it whilst the others remained in the shade, turning the field into a gold ochre. Drawn in pastel on specialist pastel paper.
