Grey over Pink

This is a painting of a view looking across the coral beaches in Skye. The ‘sand’ is made of shells and coral, hence the pink colour which is very pretty and the pastel shades look so soft against the rich mossy green grass. Overhead, grey clouds were threatening to pour rain but just hanging there. I think I just missed the downpour.
