On a snowy winter weekend in Gloucestershire, I took a walk and some time to relish and enjoy a transformed landscape. I love the snow, I love the colours and the contrasts which simplify the palette. I was wandering around fields looking at animal tracks and then upwards to watch the sky changing. Built up over many hours and layers using Unison handmade pastels on specialist pastel paper, all materials fully archival.
