Tree-lined Winter Lake
Pastel on paper
42 x 32cm
There is something intrinsically calming about looking at water, whether that is a river, a lake, or the sea. This lake at Frampton on Severn, is surrounded by trees and often home to several swans. When I began drawing here, I assumed it would be to draw the swans. However, it was the landscape itself which became more significant, and the soothing effect on me has hopefully been captured in my drawing
Presented in a double mount and cellophane wrapped
