The Quiet Green Loch
Pastel on paper
30 x 42cm
Above Loch Morlich in the Cairngorms National Park, there is footpath which leads upwards into the hills over Glenmore. The walk itself is through pine forest and gorse and valleys eventually leading to An Lochan Uaine - known as the Green Loch by the locals. It is startling in its beauty, a little surreal too, and so very quiet.
Presented in a double mount and cellophane wrapped
